Welcome to the Papalas Group, where we are interested in reaction engineering, process intensification and catalysis to develop advanced materials and thermochemical processes for the sustainable synthesis of fuels, chemicals and energy carriers. We also aim to develop new technologies for emissions abatement to support the transition toward more sustainable industrial systems. Our work aligns closely with net-zero emissions goals and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, mainly centered on the Affordable and Clean Energy and Climate Action pathways.
